More Pre-K news!

 

We are proud to extend a warm welcome to another member of our growing Pre-K team, Mrs. Barbara Cornwell! She will be joining us in a dynamic new position as Early Childhood Enrichment Specialist!

 

Barbara earned an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education and has over 30 years experience with local preschool students. She comes to us from Century Nursery School where she was a beloved teacher and director for many years.

 

In this new role, Mrs. Cornwell will work collaboratively with Mrs. Esnard in Pre-K3, Mrs. Reklaitis in Pre-K4, as well as our wonderful teaching assistants, Mrs. Pat and Mrs. B. She will be providing instructional support to classes, enrichment activities one-on-one and in small groups, and be a part of working with our new and current families to engage them in the learning process.

 

We believe a student's time in Pre-Kindergarten is an experience of love and joy as they learn through discovery. This dynamic team underscores our commitment to small class sizes and the strong academics St. Matthew School is known for throughout the community.
