There’s just something greater about St. Matthew School!

St. Matthew School is an extraordinary learning community for students in Pre-K3 through Grade 8, nestled in the Forestville section of Bristol, where we believe educating hearts and minds matter. As a member of our school family, our caring and experienced teachers will nurture your child as both a student and a person, ensuring all those in our care are provided with an education that will allow them to flourish in academics, athletics, and personal interests. Since 1961, our school has been rooted in a tradition of excellence, inspired by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and remains a beacon of light and academic excellence today and certainly for years to come. Families choose St. Matthew School for the warm, respectful environment, coupled with strong academics, and stay for this and the community that embraces all, making our school a truly special place to learn and grow.

We’re excited to share more about our school with you!

The Inspire Award recognizes passion for the competition and positivity at the event, as well as the team's integrity, good will shown to other teams, coaches and spectators and the team's overcoming obstacles or challenges to achieve their goal. The VEX IQ Championship was held at the Middle School of Plainville and brought together middle school teams from across the state to celebrate their accomplishments.
