Happy Advent!
What a truly magical time of year! Please take time out of the busyness and reflect on the “reason for the season”…make it a priority each day to be present with family and reflect on how truly fortunate we all are! Thank you Lord!
Here at school we are doing the Jesse tree with our 8th Grade, we are doing a school community Advent calendar and we are praying the Saint Andrew Christmas Novena as many times as we can to get those 15 in!! Please help us at home before/after meals, before bedtime, etc….It’s a wonderful tradition we have here at SMS!
Hail and blessed be the hour and moment in which the Son of God was born of the most pure Virgin Mary, at midnight, in Bethlehem, in piercing cold. In that hour, vouchsafe, O my God! to hear my prayer and grant my desires, through the merits of Our Saviour Jesus Christ, and of His Blessed Mother. Amen.
