BIENVENIDOS

All guests are welcome to Callao as we have not one but two visitors from the states!  Father Bill McGowen, the brother of Sister Francis is visiting from Philadelphia.  Father is the pastor of Our Lady of Ransom Parish and will be enjoying Thanksgiving with us.  Father has enjoyed visiting with the children in the school as well as with many of our Sisters and priests here in Peru. 

Also visiting us from Lancaster, PA is a special friend of children, Flat Stanley!  Sister Georgiana and her second grade are reading the book of the adventures of Flat Stanley and have sent him to Peru.  Flat Stanley has visited the second grade here where they wrote letters to the children at Sacred Heart School.  Stanley joined Jesse, my Spanish teacher, and I on a field trip to Huaca Pucllana.  This site represents all the legacy of the society that developed in Lima between the years 200 and 700 A.D.  Stanley was also back stage wishing the girls luck before the school's spring show!
